The Orange County Business Journal (OCBJ) just released its list of the fastest growing companies in Orange County, grouped by size, and Kareo ranked number 16 in the midsize category. But that’s not all … On the list, Kareo is the fastest growing software company in Orange County of all the large and midsize companies, and of the midsize companies, it is the in the top five in the healthcare industry.
The report is based on data gathered on revenue for the 12 months that ended June 30 for the past three years (2014, 2013, and 2012) and the total employees at the end of same period each year. Kareo’s revenue has grown over two and half times from $13.8 million in 2012 to over $35 million in 2014. The company had also nearly doubled its employees from 130 in 2012 to 232 in 2014. The number of employees currently stands at over 350, serving more than 25,000 customers.
Kareo is on a roll with this latest ranking and other accolades in recent months. The company was also listed on the Inc. 5000 for the third year in a row as the fifth fastest growing private software company in America with revenue between $20 million and $50 million. As if that wasn’t enough, Kareo was also on the Forbes list of American’s Top 100 Most Promising Companies and was ranked fifth fastest growing healthcare technology company on the Deloitte Fast 500.
