  • Select the courses you wish to purchase.
  • Review your order in Your Cart.
  • For Documentation Courses, enter the Coupon Code KAREO and recalculate by clicking Apply.
  • For the Coding Course, there is no need to enter a coupon code, you will automatically receive the ICD-10 Coding Games with your purchase.
  • Payment is either by PayPal or as a Guest to PayPal you can use Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

Accessing the Courses

  • For Documentation courses, the user’s email address entered at checkout will have instant access to the course. The purchaser will immediately receive an email with instructions for registration and access to the course.

Correcting your claim rejections just got a lot easier! Introducing Kareo’s Common Claim Rejections Guide.

The Kareo team developed this guide as a resource to help you get your rejected claims corrected, resubmitted, and paid. In an effort to make working rejections as painless as possible we’ve included a list of the top rejections received by Kareo customers, a description of possible causes, and detailed steps for correcting in Kareo.



Each entry is broken up into three parts:

  • Rejection Message: The actual rejection message received in the clearinghouse report or claim transaction line in Kareo. Since each payer/clearinghouse words the rejection message differently, there may be multiple messages listed for one entry.
  • Rejection Details: A description of the likely cause(s) for the rejection. Depending on the rejection, there may be several. This section will also detail any potential steps that need to be completed outside of Kareo to correct the rejection and/or tips for avoiding this type of rejection in the future.
  • Resolution: Step-by-step instructions for correcting the rejection within Kareo Practice Management.

Improve Satisfaction with Kareo Customer Success Coaching

Need a helping hand with your Kareo software? Kareo Customer Success Coaches are (CSC’s) are here for you.

What is a CSC?
A CSC is a Customer Success Coach dedicated to the success of your implementation. We understand the anxiety and stress that accompany transitions and change in the workplace. Implementing new software can be a very tedious and complex process, even for computer savvy users. At Kareo we have developed a program with one goal in mind: Simplify the implementation process while providing a personalized resource for our users. With the user friendliness of our applications and the personal assistance of a Customer Success Coach, your set up process can be completed in a matter of weeks if not days! A Customer Success Coach will be your main point of contact for anything Kareo related and can direct you to the proper department if needed. Our Coaches hate being bored, so you can expect them to proactively reach out to you in between scheduled calls for check in’s and updates. Our customers have full access to their Coach and will be able to reach them via phone or email anytime during our business hours. If your Coach is on a prescheduled call with another customer, our Support team is ready as back up and will be waiting to assist you. Our CSC’s are knowledgeable on industry standards and at often times can recommend best practice advice.

One of the other benefits of implementing with our Customer Success Coaches is that our customers receive Assisted Enrollments through our clearinghouse partners. Most insurance companies require providers to enroll for their electronic services. These services often include: Real Time Eligibility checking, electronic claim submissions, and the ability to receive Electronic Remittance Advices instead of paper EOB’s. The enrollment process is separate from the credentialing process and must be completed with most payers before claims can be sent. Your dedicated Customer Success Coach will explain the steps to complete the enrollment process, and email the initial required forms for your signature. We work hand in hand with our two clearinghouse partners, Gateway EDI and Capario, to ensure your enrollment process is as easy as possible. Enrolling with insurance companies can be a roadblock for new Kareo customers that we want to help you avoid; that’s why we will assign you a personal success coach to help ease the process and make sure your first experiences with Kareo are enjoyable!
